Lian li PC-A70 support big PSU ?

HI there Im preparing for an upgrade this year

Im looking for a Case for my new Pc, a core i7 920 is my choice.

The PSU I have now in my rig is the Pc Power and Cooling Silencer 750W Quad

Which Im counting on to run my new system also.

My questions is will this PSU fit in the Lian li PC-A70 case with no problems ?

I know it a big PSU its a bit longer than normal PSU's so I am worried that I will run into problems with this PSU and a X58 Motherboard for a Core i7, I really like the design and features of the Lian li pc a70 case so I wanted to be sure if I can use it or not.

I read some stories of people having trouble with fitting a PSU (It was not the PPAC PSU though) in the top position (Which I also want to so avoid the most dust) and then install a Motherboard, because it cover some usb and other ports on the their MB.

So I just wanted to hear if anyone had any expirience about this particular case, or a suggestion for another one if it won't fit in this case.

I've got a Lian li A70 with a Antec Truepower Quattro 1000W installed in the bottom of it. This PSU is large, but I couldn't tell you if its smaller or larger than yours.

I think I will see if I can make it fit without first though, that thing could poke someones eye out, hanging like that hehe.

Thanks BTRY. The case needs a good wipe down internally and externally to get rid of all my finger marks.

I'd just move the PSU support on the floor of the case out more toward the end of the PSU - I wouldn't want my PSU hangin' out like that either (looks like it might cover some of the fan as well. All that should need is to measure, mark and drill a couple of holes.

Thx for the picture yeah nice setup daw123, looks pretty sweet.

This case is diffintly on my list now.

I think I have starred at cases on the net the whole day, because the case i have now is pretty cramped and I don\t wanna end in that siuation again, so that why im going for a fulltower instead of a midi tower like the one I have now, which strangely reminds me alot of a lian li.

There are still a few Rocketfish Full Tower cases on fleaBay. Basically the same chassis as the A70 but made for Best Buy by Lian Li. They were in the vicinity of $100. +sh. Some good threads on it over on the Anandtech forums. Save some $$s.
