I'm pondering puchasing one of these cases to replace my noisy V1000B.
Does anyone have one? If so, your thoughts?
Thanks.

I have it and have installed quiet yate loon 120mm fans and it is awesome. I would highly recommend it. It is very flexible (like all Lian Lis) in regards to how you can set up the drives and drive bays.

How's that PCI exhaust fan or do you have it mounted? Does it do the job or will it disrupt the natural airflow & create more noise?

Hey Tull,

. In one of my threads here about the Rocketfish, I noted that the fan housing above the PCI slots was made almost useless due to the restrictive grillwork - cutting most of that grill out will help whether you want to use as exhaust or intake. Check my old tips thread on the RFFT... The L-L fans that come with their cases aren't particularly quiet but do move a bit more air than typical OEM fans.

May I ask why?
Besides the front 140mm fan, some cutouts on the mb tray & the bottom mount PSU, what difference is there?

Sure...I think the inside looked like an Antec 300, with the full length cage in the front of the system, which IMO would make it somewhat hard to work in. I also think along the lines of what can be done to enhance the performance of the system, quieter and cooler.

Other then that I think it is a really nice case...minor I know, but you asked and I gave an honest answer.

I must admit I like the wire management possibilities of the PC-7F as well as the cooling possibilities with the 140mm fan & the bottom mounted PSU.
Now I must decide if it's worth the ~$30 premium over what i'd pay for the PC-A16.

sweet, thanks man

not a H20 guys case :D

If ya don't mind a little hacking, it can be done. I have an older PC-6 that I mounted a single 120 rad in the top. If you dont mind losing the top couple of bays, 2x120 can be fitted.

I mounted a dual TFC on the bottom of my original PC-7F. I planned on relocating the drives to the bottom of the 5 front bays via a Lian Li 3 drive isolated mount with front fan. This left me two bays for my dvd players, and an additional 120 single on the back exhaust fan for the cpu. The dual was going to be for my sli rig. Love that case.
