Lian Li PC 60 Case

Does anybody have the Lian Li High Performance Computer case? It is the pc-60. Just curious where you might have bought it and what you paid for it. What is your opinion of it?

I got one a few weeks ago and I LOVE it. As for price well $400.00AUD with a 300W PSU is a bit rich but it was a moment of weakness for me. Besides it was the ideal case for my KT7-RAID, 64MB DDR GeForce Leadtek Winfast Video Card, twin IBM GPX75 20GIG HD's in raid 0 and SB Live.

For a mid tower it has everything you could want. Good cooling, lots of bays, slideout MB tray and almost everything is secured by thumbscrews. And the brushed aluminium looks SO cool.

Thats great to hear!. I ordered the case myself. By the way, I have a Soundblaster Platinum Live 5.1 sound card and an Abit KT7 Raid motherboard. Have you had any problems with the soundblaster card?. I will be running Windows 98SE. I keep hearing about this blue screen that people keep getting. I hope that doesn't happen to me after I put all of this together.

I haven't put the SB Live in just yet. I only got it up and running last night. I started with a bare bones system, got RAID setup, and loaded Win98SE. Next up is adding the SB Live and NIC hopefully tonight and once i am happy all is running OK then I'll add a peltier and start upping the juice

Reading the manual I would say that it would be wise to not install anything in the 5th PCI slot as it shares an IRQ with the Raid controller... and we all know what IRQ conflicts can lead to... BSODs and lock ups.
