Not sure whether this should be in the case or motherboards forum so I posted it here.

I have a Lian-Li PC-60 and an Intel 875PBZ Motherboard. For the life of me I cannot get the front panel LEDs to work for the Hard Drive LED nor the Power LED. It is driving me nuts. Does anyone else have a similiar configuration that can perhaps help me out here?

I don't know if it matters but I have a SATA hard drive also. I have built many computers before, but it has been a while and maybe I am just missing something obvious. Nothing is really mentioned in the manual. It just shows the picture of the front panel hookup.

Thanks,
Chris

I have a LL6070 case and I'm having a similiar problem -- I did have both my lights working for about 2 weeks, at which point the power light died. I'm not running the same motherboard as you, mine's a Soltek 86SPE-L, but I wonder if Lian-Li had some quality control problems with those little LEDs. I've checked and re-checked the connections, there's not much to the installation, unless you've got the headers on upside down or something, but you've probably tried that already.

Do your lights work with other motherboards? A pain in the ass to test, I know.

I have no idea if they work with other motherboards. And yes, it would be bloody pain in the arse. But thanks. Atleast I am not the only one with problems. I have only had my case for about 3 days. So I don't know if I got DOA lights or if I am totally incompetent and just can't hook them up correctly.

Have you flipped the connectors around, in other words reversed the polarity of each connector? LEDs are like this, they only work one way.

I thought I tried just about every configuration. But I will double check and try it out.

Thanks,
Chris

OK, it worked for the Hard Drive LED. I could have sworn I tried that already, but I guess not. Still have troubles with the Power LED. It has a 3 pin. I will have to continue playing with it.

Thanks,
Chris

Woohoo! I got it! I had to use a pliers to switch some wires around so they were all touching pins, but it works now. I love the blue and red glow.
