Top fan is making noise for some reason. not sure if it's starting to die or something but I need to get in there and figure this out. what i can't figure out is how to get to the damn thing. Please tell me there is a way to remove this fan.
 
after messing with it a little, i finally figured it out 🙂 it's actually quite easy to pop the rivets out if you know what you're doing. just push the rivet from underneath and you can then pull from the top side. easy to slide in afterwards but remember to remove the head completely before trying to place them back in.
 
its easy you pull the little black piece out with a finger nail you can even just pull it out with force and it wont break em.
