Lian-Li Case mystery

I just bought a Lian-Li PC-60. Inside the small cardboard box containing the miscellaneous hardware, is a small 5 1/8" X 4" Aluminum plate with three threaded tabs. What is this plate for? A picture is at the link below.

This is not the first PC-60 I purchased. None of the others have come with this plate. I am sure I will be embarassed to have asked this question once I find out its purpose. However, I posted this question at Overclockers forum and no one there knows what it is for either.

Its the new bracket for the internal HDD cage. You can mount the plate in the cage vertically if you want to use a different configuration for 3 horizontally mounted HDDs. I believe this leaves 1 vertical slot if you like, but I'm not sure. The standard configuration allows for 5 vertically mounted 3.5'' drives in the cage; the bracket allows for 3 horizontal and 1 or 2 vertical mounts. I read about it in one of the new 6070 reviews, but I guess it is making its way into all of their newer shipped cases.

chizow, You are absolutely correct. It fits perfectly into the drive cage to allow for horizontally mounting drives. Thanks for the insight.
