i have the lian-li aquarium side panel, and wanted to mod it so that i could switch the air pump & light on/off via a 3.5in bay switch. any suggestions on parts, guides, comments, etc. thanks

edit

i was thinking i could use a vantec rheobus.. or something from lian-li

edit again!

do you think it would be possible to use
this to control the air pump (on/off) and the cathode light (on/off) using this on the front of the case. this would be very convenient. i'm just not sure how its done, if anyone could give me a few pointers id appreciate it.

The item in the link looks like it should work. Just find the power wires for the pump and light, I'm guessing they are 12v. The switch in the link doesn't say what it is rated for, but it is probably meant for fans which run on 12v also. No idea about current for the pump and light though... Give it a try, you'll probably only fry the switch.... maybe....

E-Mail the company selling the switch thingy and ask them what it is rated for.
