Lian Li 6070 vs Antec Sonata

Has anyone done a side by side comparison of these two cases?

The Sonata looks good except for the punched out "Antec" name on the side panels. It's supposed to be pretty quiet but cooling sounds like an issue. It's about $100 at Amazon.

There's just not much feedback on the Lian Li PC-6070. Any opinions out there??

i dont know of any reviews but i would get the sonata. the Lian-Li PC-6070 runs about $180 at newegg ($200 shipped). add another $70 for the antec truepower 380 that comes with the sonata and you are looking at $250 ($280 shipped) for thr lian li. it simply isnt worth it to me. also, the sonata has a 120mm exhaust as where the lian li has a 80mm. it seems to me the sonata is a more practical choice

I just got the sonata and it works great and is quiet- I've got dual XEON 2.2Ghz's procs in it and have had no issue with cooling- haven't ran a burn in but temps have been in the 30's so far. I replaced the 120MM fan with a stealth and it made a difference as well.

The reviews ive seen that have noted any concern for temps have simply said to add a low rpm 120mm fan in the intake, to complement the exhaust one that comes pre installed. should barely add to noise and supposably makes the case one that is good for airflow, instead of a little poor.

I'm running just the exhaust 120mm right now and not having any issues. I also have an Antex 550w PS and two 80mm fans on the XEON hs/f with the Vantec (I think) ducting kit. Overall a really nice setup- quiet and fast!
