Lian Li 2100 and 8800 GTS

Have a Lian Li 2100 and getting a 8800 GTS BFG video card. I have the plus vertical fan for the top but cooling for this case has always been a concern as the CPU and ThermalRight Cooler sits right below the video card. Had a EVGA 7800 KO gts but it suffered a heat stroke which may or may not have been linked to poor airflow in this case. Anyone with the same case....running with a Nvidia 8800 card....did you mod the case for better airflow? Open to ideas.
