LIan-60 and Overclocking

Question on case cooling.

I have a lian-60 aluminum case. THe case consist of two intake fans in the front by the harddrives and a single exhaust fan in the rear below the power supply. I have a zalman copper heatsink and 92 inch fan blowing down on the heatsink. My tempertures at idle are 53.5 C. I was wondering if this is running hot. I have a xp2100+ running at 2200 MHZ. and @1.8 volts. The rear fan is blowing exhausting and so is the powersupply fan the only intake fans are in front of the harddrives.

Some people, the ones crazy about having temps below x degrees C, will tell you it's "way to high." Personally, I think that if your PC runs stable and doesn't crash or exhibit other signs of instability, your temps are fine. One of my rigs runs at about 52C and never crashes or is unstable. That's just me though. My server case is a Lian-Li-68 case and I have about 51C idle and 55C under load. If you are worried about temps you might try arranging your cables and moving them out of the way if your intake fans. My cables are folded or round and do not impede airflow as much. However, as I said, if your PC is stable, your temp is fine.

I'm a cooling noob but I fought to get my 2100+ to those temperatures (and then below but can with lots of fans); remember mine hitting 70degrees C in games.

The specs of that chip say that's way within range and the 2100 is really a bear to cool!
