I should be getting my new Laptop Li-Ion battery tomorrow.
Since I want this one to last longer then my last one (which lasted only 1 year) I would like to know a few
tips and tricks to get the most out of this battery.
1. The first time I use it i should fully discharge and recharge it, right?
2. Is it better to leave the battery always in the Laptop (even when the laptop is connected to normal power)?
I often use the laptop at the office or at home where I usually have it plugged in.
I once heared that Li-Ion batteries only last about 500 charges. Is this true?
If yes, should I take the battery out when I have the laptop plugged in?
On the other hand my aptop battery somehow lost its capacity when i didn't use it for about 2 weeks ....
3. Should I try to always fully discharge and recharge it or is it okay to charge and use it as needed?
... any other tips?
