Been thinking of upgrading my old 19" CRT to a 22" LCD. Have trashed the Hanns-G that I had originally thought would be the one to buy, and have looked into the Samsung 2253BW. Browsing around Best Buy I saw this LG offering and was wondering if it's on par with the Samsung model?

edit: I'd use it mostly to play games on. FPS's/RPG's
LG model

I picked this up about three weeks ago at BB for the same price and I'm extremely satisfied. I looked at everything in the 20" to 24" range and this was what I chose. Plenty of features, and I'm using both inputs switching back and forth between two computers. The 22" size is perfect for me.

If I had to say one negative thing it would be the very minimal backlight bleed in one of the bottom corners. I only notice it when there is a completely black screen during boot-up, otherwise I never see it any other time.

Thumbs up for this model, and at the BB sale price its a good deal.

Okay, I just clicked on your link and its not the same one. Oops on me! I picked up the L225WTQ for $279. I didn't see this one in today's paper, but I did see they were running my monitor again for the same price. Your link looks to be the replacement model for mine. Sorry for the confusion. But I would definitely buy LG again.

Looks like the same specs as the new Sammy 2253 (2ms, 10,000:1 contrast). I believe people are reporting they are all CMO panels.
Did you notice a 'bluish' tint to it?

I have the WTQ(BF) model and I love it. At one time it was the best 22" LCD to get. I dont know what the difference is between them. Have you posted to xtknight's stickied thread above to ask him? He'd probably know. Overall the WTQ line has been a good one for LG.
