You know what I see there? I see a whole new panel of buttons, a couple motors and a bunch of new wiring all waiting to break.

That's exactly what I thought too...over-engineered and waiting to break. But oh so cool! :D

Gotta save that half a calorie you might have burned opening the damn door yourself.

Thank god they put the anti-arm crushing sensors on the drawers. I thought we might have to get Congress to pass a law in order to reduce the number of refrigerator injuries in this country.

THIS is the next step in fridge technology advancement? Granted, this isn't as silly as a LCD TV embedded into the door, but close.

I need a robotic arm to pop out and deposit the food directly in my big fat ugly face. Please.

well, the engineers struck out again. I've noticed that the refrigerators with built in LCD televisions seem to be going away.

Here's an idea for the LG idiots: A refrigerator with a built in microwave oven - you could keep food cold, but program it to cook the food at a certain time. That way, you don't have to worry about the chicken getting salmonella while you're at work & you can arrive home to a freshly microwaved chicken dinner. :p

I want a combo oven+fridge that way you can set food to be ready to cook the night before, have it cooked when you get home from work, and then just leave the leftovers in it to be warmed for lunch the next day.
