Hi guys,
There's this really noisy PC at work and since I'm "the guy who's good with computers" people are asking me to do something about it. I looked at that machine and it's an old LGA775 Pentium 4. The case is some ridiculous monster that tried to copy the PowerMac G4 internally, but failed at it ant it will take a long time to remove the mobo, so coolers using backplates are out of the question. This PC runs 24/7 with some accounting and database packages and the downtime must be minimal. What would you suggest that can cool down a hot Prescott with little noise and is quick to install? Most of the famous brands like Cooler Master, Arctic Cooling, Scythe, Prolima Tech, Noctua are available in my country.
