LGA771 Watercooling

HAL9000

Lifer
Hey Guys,
I'm somewhat new to watercooling, it's not really something I've ever fancied doing as most of the machines I've built in the past are servers and I've not really needed to overclock much, however now I've starting playing some PC games, and I'd love to cool things down and quiet things up, buuut my Processor socket is 771 and I can't find any kits in an ideal world I'd like a Corsair H50/ H70 something like that, can I get something similar to fit my CPU sockets (I have two CPU's) any help would be appreciated or any advice, while building one myself is perfectly doable, as I mentioned I don't know what I'm doing particularly and I'd like something with little risk of leaking but good performance, thanks in advance.

I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure 771 used the same mount as 775, most coolers back then that advertised 771 support used what looked like the same bracket, so I would say you should have no issue finding compatible mounts

Ok if that's the case, that's brilliant I've found loads of 775 compatible stuff. If anyone else can confirm this that would be great, I've spent ages looking to see if that's the case but 771's arn't particularly well documented by the looks of things...
