Just wondering, since I dont own a LGA 1155 board or anything, I have like 3 different LGA 775 heatsinks for my core2duos. Any chance these will work on 1155?

Ok thanks. And yes, I am talking about aftermarket coolers, not stock. I have a plethora of them.

Some of the cooler manufacturers offer mounting kits that will fit the 1155/1156 boards. Not all, but several of the "better" companies do.

I wasnt looking for that much help, I can look that stuff up. It looks like it is just a bracket for the zalmans.

I have a zalman 9500 cu, some zerotherm zen, a cooler master hyper tx2, thermalright ultra 120 I believe.

I see there is a $4.99 bracket on newegg for zalmans.

I am not in any hurry for the build as I dont even plan on buying a new cpu/mobo for another month or two. I was just curious.
