LGA 2011 Xeon's - Fully Locked?

Thinking of picking up this guy:

Really, though, in order for it to make sense, I need to be able to clock it up the top Turbo bin (2.5Ghz) for it to make sense. Since this is what other desktop chips w/Turbo can do, I am hoping it is possible.

I am actually thinking about getting ECC ram, yes.

Any experience/help out there? Thanks in advance 🙂

Darn. I am hoping someone will chime in with a different real-world experience, otherwise it I will likely end up with an IVB based 1155 Xeon.
