I want to delid a 13th or 14th gen and want to know if I should place the CPU in the oven for 100 degrees for 30 min prior to using the delidding tool. Also, I was going to get the replacement copper IHS instead of running it naked and wanted to know if anyone has any luck with the replacement copper IHS that i see for sale out there at various places
 
Which delidding tool are you using? I've never done one myself but watching Roman (Der8auer) several times on his videos he never puts them in the oven first when using the Thermal Right delidder.
