LGA 1150 stock fan question

I'm upgrading my g3258 to an i7-4790(non K) oem that didn't come with a fan. Can I use the fan from the g3258 for my new i7 - is it the same fan that would have come stock?

I purchased a cryorig H7 but it requires removing my motherboard from the case which would be a PITA. I think the stock cooler would just pop on and not require accessing the back of the mobo which would be so much easier.

Hmmm. I guess I just don't know how much of a difference it will make since I won't be overclocking the 4790 since it won't gain me much. It's for my son's computer so he can play the new Star Wars Battlefront II (it hitches on the current cpu). Just snapping the old fan off putting in the new cpu then snapping on the old fan is pretty tempting. Looking at the cryorig manual it requires removing the MB and then a bit of a tricky install especially solo.
