I bought a 120Hz LCD and I use it with my PC in a dual monitor config. There are not options to set or even force 120Hz in Catalyst Control Center.

dose anyone know how i can get My Video Card to Recognize the 120Hz!? I have the right cable to support it but i think that the LG isn't really a "true" 120hz panel!

If you have a dual monitor setup in clone mode the highest frequency supported would be the maximum supported by your lowest spec monitor of that makes sence.... the only way to have them individualy setup is in extended desktop mode

I have it in extended; I also setup my system with just the LG to see if that made a difference. I guess the 120Hz is a hardware thing where as the chip on the monitor just doubles the frames and I'm really not that impressed. I'm going to return it and get the plane old 60Hz... I turn off 120Hz for just about everything. I had to invite my cousin over for a second opinion and it just isn?t what I was expecting? the picture is great but it looks fake in all movies. Maybe it?s to real!? I think that when a director makes a movies there are things you aren?t supposed to notice and the 120Hz is just distracting to me. It?s like I?m watching just as much of the back ground as the foreground and you end up missing the path the director is taking you down. I had a 40 inch Samsung and I have to say the picture on the LG is equally as good if not better (with + without 120Hz). I?m going to return it for the 46 inch Samsung 550 series and nothing to do with the picture! I liked the Samsung remote and the buttons are easier to get to on the Samsung (from my desk). I also liked the guide function much better (over the air, I don?t have cable). One other big difference is since the LCD is connected to my PC the Samsung just seems to connect better to the PC. Sometimes when I switch inputs on the LG I have to disable extended desktop and enable again it to get it to detect. If I didn?t have the setup I have I would just keep the LG! the Q-Menu function is really nice and I?m actually starting to like the remote.

your TV is capable of 120hz through interpolation but can't accept a real 120hz input. you'll be limited to 60hz on your PC.

be happy that you have real 60Hz input, most HD stuff that your TV will display will be at best 24P
