Ok guys, I plied my LG W2361v Flatron apart in order to fix a pesky OSD that keeps popping up randomly on the screen. It's outside of warranty.
First, I removed just the menu PCB harness from the board and took the board out... It powered on but wouldn't show anything after the splash. I tried removing the power PCB as well (the monitor has a connector to the power sensor, it senses your finger's proximity to the plastic from inside, and that has a connector to the menu buttons on the side), and I got the same response. Now I've plugged both back in and it STILL won't stay on - the power sensor functions if I put my finger near it, it turns on, the splash displays, I see a menu for a second, and then it goes black instantly.
I know I made a mistake, but is there any undoing what i've done and can someone make suggestions as to what to try next? Thanks.
