LG Venus and LG Dare

Anyone have an LG Venus? How do you like it? How is call quality and reception - my 2 biggest needs?

I'm looking at that phone, primarily because it's free.

My next choice based on some reviews I've read is the LG Dare. I think I would probably get this phone before the Venus, but the thing holding me back is the $100 pricetag.


Any suggestions?

It seems most people on HOFO are saying the Dare is significantly better then the Venus for just about everything, unless you text a lot and need the qwerty keypad.

i don't think the venus has a qwerty keyboard. the dare has one if you tilt the phone sideways.
