LG Stylo 2 Cancer Warning

Hi all, so my S4 finally kicked the bucket. I think I've had it for about 5 years and I am in need of another phone. I looked online and found the LG Stylo 2. After some research on the phone I decided to order it. When I finally got the phone I noticed a Proposition 65 cancer warning on this phone. Can anyone please clarify what part of this phone is cancerous or not? Am I going to have to wash my hands every time I handle this phone or are the cancer chemicals inside this phone? What if I drop this phone and it cracks, will cancer chemicals come out of it? I'm a bit of a hypochondriac and I'm thinking about returning this. Returning this phone is going to be a huge pain, it'll probably take days to get back + another 5 or so days to get a refund, then take more time to do research on what other phone I should get and wait for that phone to come back. I really need a phone but I don't want a phone that will put my health at risk. Any advice is appreciated.

According to California everything causes cancer. I have fishing line that california says will kill me. Anyway, I believe if you eat your phone it may cause cancer. So don't eat your phone. Seriously tho, most likely the system board and battery has cancer causing ingredients in them. But only if consumed.

Or perhaps dip it in DMSO and then rub it repeatedly on various and sundry mucous membranes.;) That Prop 65 shit is so-o-o out of hand. I don't take that stuff especially lightly, but those warnings are plastered on so many products that are realistically harmless, you just can't help pretty much completely ignoring them ...

I bought a cotton t-shirt recently that had this warning on it. I hate California.

Prop 65 warnings are so out of hand they are pretty much a joke to all but the Nerf-worlders. Worst thing is, the insane level of crying wolf will make people unable to tell real hazards from nonsense.

So relax and enjoy your phone OP. It's probably about as dangerous as a Disneyland resort.

Thanks guys, I've opened up the package and am using it now. But the manual says I have to wash my hands after I handle it. x[

So did one of my mice. Lead-based paint, most likely.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, right?
