Despite being very beta it works great. This is a very impressive phone now. Its without the bulk of a note 2 and the best hardware in the phablet category, and the display is jaw dropping. Hopefully more people get on the bandwagon so that development can take off.

Meh.

Stock LG software works great. ONLY reason I might run a CM rom is if it'll force all the audio through the headphones jack when something is plugged in there.

Either way its a great phone. apparently its down to $400 off-contract at att stores. It has no competition at that price and very little at any price assuming you can deal with phablet sized phones.

It's being discounted heavily because it will soon be discontinued and replaced by the Optimus G2.
The price is being cut to get rid of all existing inventory. AT&T did something similar to the HTC First.

Because people are stupid, and nobody wants to pay full price for phones.

I think most people willing to drop $400 on a LG OGPro are probably far more likely to but a Nexus 4. Though there are legitimate reasons to opt for the GPro instead.

But it's good news though. Will let those that don't like the LG software a great choice.
