Does anyone know if an LG TV (2018 model) with a Magic Remote will let me speak letters and it will enter then on the onscreen keyboard for the webbrowser?
They updated the webbrowser software (it was out of memory a lot and didn't support some sites) and now it doesn't store my email address as a cookie.
I need to login to a website each time (nhl centre ice) so I need to enter my email address and password a lot.
This is painfully slow using the onscreen keyboard (especially if I make a typo).

no it wont. unless they have made a change to it.
Seems like it would be a perfect use for it doesnt it!? It kills me having to manually type stuff in with that remote.
(im on my third one of these remotes because of little kids, so entirely possible im proven wrong)

It's not exactly what you're asking for, but you can plug a USB keyboard into the TV and type that way. Not the most convenient solution, but way better than the remote.

whats even better is a wireless usb mini keyboard. (of course you will probably have to buy one every two years as they dont seem to last well)
