LG L246W 24" - Menu's grayed out in areas.

Hopefully I can find someone that owns this monitor or similar and can explain why I have no EZ Video feature.

EZ Video on this LG monitor is just the name for the different preset video modes like "Dynamic,Standard,Custom,User,Gaming,Movie,Text,etc".

It states in the manual that for HDMI & Component you can select these different modes. But the EZ Video option is there but not accessible. I tried RGB and HDMI, also Video & PC modes in the monitor and still no EZ Video option.

Please help.

Well bad news. I just checked my email and they sent me a email today stating EZ video only works on external devices like a DVD player/Xbox. With my old DVD 480P player hooked up via component I can access those menu options.

That doesn't make sense to me. That means I can not jump between bright & dim modes for PC usage and Gaming. I use that feature on my old CRT everytime I game. Is there a quick and easy way to set that up through software? Darn it, that feature alone is making me not want this monitor. Overall it's a ok monitor I guess, nothing else to compare it too except my old CRT which isn't as nice.
