Hey guys, I'm currently in the process of purchasing a system, and I can't find a review for the 1752TX anywhere! I would like to know if it has any issues like ghosting or backlight leaking. I have seen the 1952, and it's relatively backlighting, and ghosting isn't noticeable, though I havn't played any games on it.
And is the claim of 1400:1 contrast greatly exaggerated?
The reason I'm getting a 1752, is because I have a cash flow problem (~500 left for cpu, mb, monitor 0.o), and it's only 199cdn. Or should I just stick with a CRT for now? I think if I get the monitor... well my bank account's going to take a hit =/. (dad's covering for 2000 =p).
I'm heading off to res, so space is VERY limited, and my 17inch CRT is pretty huge. Oh and I can't use my DVI connections =/.
Oh yeah, if anyone can suggest another LCD with good reviews for 200CDN, it'd be greatly appreciated.
I'm going to be using it for mostly office applications. The occasional game and movie.
I'm mainly looking for a DVI connection and bright, vibrant colors.
