LG G3 and Uconnect

Anyone here have any experience with the LG G3 and Uconnect? I have a 2011 Ram 1500 Truck that has Uconnect. A couple of months ago I picked up the G3, an upgrade from my trusty old Samsung S2. My Samsung worked beautifully with the Uconnect but I have tried everything I know to get the G3 working with it and it just won't do it. It will connect and I can make and receive calls but it will not recognize the contacts in my phone book at all.

Anyone experience anything like this and if so, what the Hell did you do to get it working.

Did you get the popup asking for access to you phonebook? Its easy to miss, doesn't always pop up, and if you don't say yes it won't download. I had to repair a couple times with a g2 to get my contacts working. (different system, but the pop up was always the issue)

Yes, I did get it and answered yes but it still wouldn't work.

Just forced mine to sync. Get to your phonebook page and initiate a download. Then goto the contacts on the phone. Hit menu and share over bluetooth. Select your system. Worked to force a download on my car.
