Wow... this monitor seems to be very elusive. I can't even find any decent pictures of it, let alone a review or some good info!

Please tell me someone has had some experience with this monitor! I'm quite interested in it. Thanks!
 
Well, its 17" and 6-bit color. Nothing really stands out about it, but if you can get a really good price on it, it looks OK.
 
What does 6-bit color mean? I haven't heard that before. Is that good? And yeah, I found one for $250, which is in my price range.
 
6-bit+dithering is what most LCDs are, but some cream of the crop ones offer 8-bit colors which would be better, although arguably unnoticeable except in some test gradients.
 
I cant comment on that particular model, but my last LCD was a LG Flatron 17" and it was great. No dead pixels, great colour. The blacks werent brilliant on it, but they may have improved since then. (this was 3 years ago).

Very nice for the pricepoint IMO; the contrast especially 🙂
