I am currently in the market for a 19" monitor and this one looks great on paper. Flatron seems to be a very cool design, kinda like a mixture of Aparture Grille and Shadow Mask, not heard much about them from actual users so I have a couple questions. Here goes:

1)How do you like it?
2)Weaknesses?
3)Can it be bought w/o ordering online?

TIA ^

I`ve one, seems like I`m the only AT member with a LG Flatron 915FT,

1)How do you like it?
2)Weaknesses?
3)Can it be bought w/o ordering online?

1 It`s fine gives good text and graphics have richs colours and is detailed.

2 slightly geometry problem on my first one at top,I RMAed it and got a replacement which is fine. The screen is dead flat both inside and out so gives very slight concave image due to the optical effect of flat glass, you get use to it and it`s very slight as I`ve already said.

3 don`t know I got mine online here in the UK.

:)

Thanks for the info.

I think i'm gonna get one, looks to me to be one of the best 19" monitors out there, and at a decent price also. I'm having trouble finding review info on it, I guess LG Electronics is just starting to sell in the states.

Hey Demonicon ! Thats exactly the monitor I am willing to buy for my next Athlonxp computer !
I also think its the best 19" monitor price/quality.
Its very affordable and can do 1600 at 85 hz wich is EXACTLY what I really wanted of a monitor ! ;)
And many people here from Anandtech said that it was a nice monitor. Thats the one !

i've played around on the 17" models a lot and I REALLY like them...in fact, I would say they are the best flatscreen CRTs available...

plus that model has a built in USB hub..the cherry on top.
