Is this possible? How well does it work? I was contemplating getting a larger TV and using my current one on one PC and the new one on a second PC until I remembered reading something about 120hz 3D TV's having the ability to 'share' the screen and use the glassed to filter only certain image to each user. For my setup, and limited space this would work a million times better than having 2 TV's setup in the living room. With a little Googling I've found that some console games work with this but I haven't found anything about using more than one source at the same time. Audio doesn't matter, I don't use the TV for sound and could easily work around any audio related issues with the mute button.

Judging from the plethora of responses here I'm assuming this hasn't been touched on much. I was doing a bit more research over the long weekend and found that while it's possible I would need a device to convert the 2 separate 2D streams into one Full 3D SBS stream which would allow the TV to decode it and split each image tagging on stream for just left eye glasses and the other for just right eye glasses which can be purchased for cheap. The issue I've ran into is finding something that can combine the 2D streams to a 3D stream for less than $1000 - really to make this feasible it would have to be in the $100-200 range. Does anyone know of something that might help?

Game capture hardware combined with broadcasting software could probably do it. You use the game capture hardware to pull in the second PC and the broadcast software would be used to place both game feeds side-by-side. That should be able to output via HDMI to the TV.
