LG BH10 burner - PowerDVD software locked to drive?

I got an LG BH10 (BH10LS30 retail box) Blu-ray burner and it came with PowerDVD 8 for Blu-ray playback.

Is that software locked to the drive? This drive is going to be used with a Mac, so the Blu-ray software is useless, but I'm considering getting a second drive for use with my Windows nettop. Will I have to get another copy of the software?
