LG BD650 @ Fry's B&M $89.99 Wilsonville, OR location. Newspaper ad just says "Major Brand Name," so YMMV. This model does not have built-in WiFi, so must be hardwired or used with extra-cost LG USB adapter.

The LG BD650 has 3D.

For non-3D, Fry's had the Samsung BD-D5300 for $69.99 last week, and the LG BD-640 (with WiFi dongle included) for $109.99 (was $99.99 in the past).

I ended up with the BD-D5300 + Samsung WiFi dongle for about $112 combined, as it had a stronger signal than the LG BD-640's dongle. And the LG only had 1 USB port, meaning I'd have to unplug the WiFi dongle whenever I wanted to plug in a flash drive.

For playing computer files, I find LG and Samsung to be the best. Vizio and Sony were weak.

Had the BD570 for about two weeks, returned. Could not get it to a)update firmware, b)read front USB port (flash drive) or c) read image files from networked computers. Streaming services worked fine, but on the whole it was too buggy a device to keep. Moving on to Sony. Perhaps the BD560 is better, but somehow I doubt it.

I did read that initially the firmware was buggy and that some players were even bricked by an update.

I went for this model because of the NTFS support on the USB port and DLNA. I don't have a 3D TV, so that part is wasted on me. Last night, I watched a couple episodes of Supernatural from a USB pen drive, the 350 MB XVID encoded type with VBR MP3 audio that are all over the internet, and they played back perfectly. I had previously transcoded to NTSC Widescreen MPG, authored, and burned DVDs. This is so much easier! I have a lot of TV shows yet to watch...
