LG 915FT+ image schrinks / zooms

Hi there

My LG915+ (crt) monitor image schrinks and zooms spontaneously. This happens since yesterday on irregular basis.
In the most exreme case the image schrinks 3 cm, and then fluently zooms again to its original size after a second of 2.

I tested the monitor on a second pc, with the same result.

What can this problem be? and is it worthwhile to let it fixed concerning costs etc.

My monitor is from feb. 2002.

The only "shrinking" I can think of that occurs on some crt's (both ag ans shadowmask) occur when I minimize windows or show the desktop. The image shrinks just a tiny bit. No idea what causes this but I'm assuring you that it's VERY common. I have 2 17" trinitrons and 3 19" shadowmasks that it occurs on.

This kinda shrinking / zooming is not normal, it occurs random from time to time, even when gaming.
