I was surprised when I used BURNproof technology when burning at 16x (actually it's more like 12x). The drive takes up about 100% of the CPU under windows 2000. Is there any way of fixing this? I had a SCSI CDRW drive before this which would only take up about 10% but burned at only 2x.
My other CD-ROM drive is on the SCSI bus and the other IDE devices are HDD's which are on my RAID controller (3ware). So the only IDE device is the LG 8160B which is connected to the primary IDE channel as a master on my Asus A7M266.
