Hallo,
My name is Marc andI am located in Belgium.
So please excuse me if my English isnt' perfect.;)

I want to buy a LG 38UC99 monitor - mainly for desktop work ( text, spreadsheets, extra site to open, etc...)
I am no gamer, but I do some modest Photoshop work.

The monitor would be connected to my laptop, it is imho a decent thing, but he has some age due to computer-terms ;)

It is a Dell Precision M6700 with a grapic card from Nvidia: Quadro K3000 M

I am no computer expert, mainly a user, so my question is: Is this graphic card still goog enough to work with the LG 38UC99 monitor ?

Thank you for your advice !

It should work fine, the Quadro K3000M supports up to 3840x2160p with display port.

The LG 38U99 is 3840x1600p, so your GPU shouldn't have any problems assuming there aren't any driver issues. For basic desktop use you should be fine.

Thank you very much !
Tomorrow I will see one irl.
There are only two "Media Markets" in the country that have one in the shop ;)

I read very good things about this monitor, but also some peaple who say that the text isn't as sharp as they expect for such a pricey monitor...
