Hi all,
About to re-enter the world of PC Gaming/Sim racing after several years away and needless to say I am completely out of touch with hardware development.
I will be building from scratch but as I have a decent TV I wondered if it might be viable for gaming/sim racing purposes?
It is and LG 37" LED HDMI input TV.
Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge guys.

Can you get a model number, knowing what the resolution is and response time etc would be helpful although I doubt you will be dissapointed unless you are very picky.

TVs don't make very good gaming monitors due to the lag and them being only being to output at 60hz

The 37LV355U seems to be your fairly standard 1080p LCD TV. It'll probably do reasonable well for gaming/desktop usage, but input lag can definitely be a factor as Yamamoto says.

OK thanks all. Input lag is gonna be a deal breaker so I will start searching for proper kit. Cheers :)
