LG 37" lcd vs Toshiba 32" lcd?

Both 720p. The toshiba in question has quite a few positive reviews, but I do get more screen real estate with the LG (which is the same price)... How decent are LG lcds these days?

It would be helpful to know the model numbers, your viewing distance, the source(s), and your budget.

I typically lean toward more screen real estate, but it depends on your answers to the above questions.

Ha - sorry, I'm so lazy! Yes, I have to use QVC - my wife has a QVC charge card and we're going to take advantage of 0% interest

As far as viewing distance - the room is primarily a guest bedroom, so I'd say 7', maybe? We haven't even set up the bed yet, but will be getting guest near the end of the month. It's currently being used as a workout room, and the tv could theoretically be as close as 5' away from our elliptical/total gym.

Source is mostly OTA, using an xbox 360 as a media center extender. I may get a dishnetwork receiver put in there, but we can work out to the simpsons 🙂

I've got the Toshiba 32AV502R and I'm happy with it overall. My only complaint so far is that sometimes I notice some greenish ghosting when dark objects move across the screen. I see it occasionally while playing games on my Xbox 360, but not during TV or movies. It's a minor issue for me.

Keep in mind that the Toshiba costs $350 with free shipping at Newegg. I think that would beat 0% interest at QVC where it costs $450 + $17 shipping.
