LG 29UM67P NICE!

Newegg just had a super sale on the LG 29" Ultrawide 29UM67P. What a nice monitor that supports freesync. The 2560 x 1080 aspect ratio in ultrawide is great. Plays extremely well with my RX 480.

And it can be tuned:
Looks like the Low Framerate Compensation works with my LG 29UM67 tuned to 30-75Hz. I can do 20FPS and there is no tearing.
The animation at 20fps is not fluid because object move quite a distance between each frame, so you really want to be closer to 30 fps anyways. But hey! No tearing even below 30 fps is a nice bonus.
I used this guys driver:

Thank you moondog and thank you for the tuning info Erenhardt.

There probably is not a "perfect" monitor for everyone but this Ulrawide at 2560x1080 is almost a perfect match for the RX 480 both in resolution AND that it supports Freesync.

I snagged in for $229 from Newegg on a supersale and it really complements the rest of the 6700k build below.

kalrith, going to a 34" ultrawide might be a 3440 x 1440 resolution. I have a 34" ultrawide on my 5960x rig BUT I have a GTX 1080 gpu. Big step up from the RX 480.
