I'm trying to turn off the auto-dimming for my monitor. See here:

The driver CD it came with won't even read (it spins around and stops--and yes, I have double-checked by reading with other CDs to ensure that the optical drive is working). Trying to look for some help. It's pretty unbearable to watch "dark" movies on this because auto-dim turns dark scenes even darker.
