Does your monitor have a noticeable buzz when it's on? Is it normal My old Samsung is completely silent so I find the LG distracting.

My old LG was completely silent and my new Samsung is too. In fact I do not know of any monitor that will buzz when on and be considered normal. I would say that something's fishy. Have you checked your cables? Are you running @native res @std refresh?

A lot of poorly constructed monitors have this problem. It's some sort of issue on the power side. RMA.

Well that's a first, I've never heard that before. This sounds like bad circuitry or power issue or both. One way or the other I think that I'll agree with s44, RMA.

can anyone that actually has this monitor try this test (decrease brightness) to see if the buzz comes on? btw put your ear to the side of the monitor.
