Hi,

I'm planning to get rid of my fish-bowl monitor (yep, I can even predict the futere in it...), so I was plannig to buy a new 19'' flattron. My first choice was a Iiyama 19'', but someone told me there were a lot of problems related to the monitor cable, among other things and he suggested a LG 915FT. I was wondering if you guys had experience with this baby or maybe even better suggestions.

I`m using LG 915FT Flatron right now,it`s good, better with BNC cables(well i notice the improvement) the screen is very flat,if you want another good monitor then the Samsung 900IFT is good,I got the LG 915FT because it was cheaper here in the UK,the text is ok & it`s strong points are colour & graphics.

But try to see some monitors on in the showroom, since it`s very personal choice when it comes to monitors.

well i had a chance to visit yongsan in seoul when i was there, which is like a gigantic computer superstore. if my memory serves me right, flatrons look just like AG monitors minus the aparture grills. samsungs are alrite, but if there was a retailer that carried a flatron here in the states, i would have gotten one instead of this FD trinny i am using :)

well i suggest you go check them out yourself... when people recommend viewsonics and hitachis over flatrons, the chances are they have never seen flatrons in action :)

The 915FT+ is indeed a fine monitor. I bought it yesterday (not using BNC though). See this link for a remaining question about refresh rates.
