LF Wide LCD Monitor 4 PC\360\PS3(via DVI @1080i\p)

Trying to decide on a Widescreen Monitor

Was going to rush on to buying the 2407wfp
Then I read the dell forums and found out that it doesn’t take 1080i\p from
The dvi ports via external devices
So no blu ray hddvd unless its form the pc

So basically I’m looking for one that does that

DVI (HDCP) 1080i\p for my ps3\bluray\hddvd in the future

Component connection would be nice but if there is none no big deal

Thus i need a monitor with 1920 x 1200 resolutions
For that I am considering

230WP7 -12ms \ 700:1 1920x1200
L2335: 16ms\1200:!\1920 x1200

Does anyone know if it can do 1080i\p via Hdmi- dvi
or any other monitors that can do that?

If there’s no such monitor that can accomplish my tall lists of requirements
I was considering

View Sonic VX2025wm 8ms \800:1\1680 x 1050
-I can get great deal on this monitor

But does anyone know if this monitor or any similar to it that can do at least 1080i via
HDMI to DVI

If there’s any upcoming monitors that may do this let me know

If your looking for something that has all that, why not go for a real TV monitor. Like the Sceptre 37in. LCD. It'll do 1080p (and not just accept it, but display it too, no downsizing, etc.)

Since your looking for something that you can hook up an Xbox 360, bluray, etc. thats why I recommend the LCD TV, instead of the monitor. And for a computer monitor, just get the VX2025. Then you have both (and about a $1500 hole in your wallet 😉)

But if you don't like that, then I'm not sure what ~24in monitor to recommend you 🙂

I have a Dell 2007fpw and according to the specs is HDCP ready. So I can only assume the 3007fwp would give you what you want as for the 1920x1200. I personally only plan on using my 2007fwp for the PS3 (if it ever comes out) and stick with a standard TV for the rest of the family until I am forced to buy an HDTV. I rarely watch TV anyway but I do watch movies and am anxiously waiting for PS3 and BR discs! 🙂 Let my wife and kid stick to plain old 4:3 TVs and DVDs!
