No, it's at the top of the Toyota food chain.

If I wanted absolute reliability I wouldn't hesitate in getting a Toyota/Lexus.

WTF does that have to do with it?

I bought the Honda Accord because:
1) Better deal, getting a Honda Accord SE for $17,244 vs Toyota Camry LE for $17,900 with LESS OPTIONS.
2) Just as reliable although I still think Toyota is slightly more reliable than Honda.
3) The Toyota was nice and quiet inside but it drove like a boat. At least in the Accord I could feel the road, the curves, etc. I didn't feel as comfortable driving the Toyota Camry.

If you are looking at a Lexus LS400, BUY IT!

If I had $35k to blow I'd buy a new 2004 Lexus ES330.

If it weren't for that and one other minor annoyance (speedometer), I would have gladly paid MORE for the Toyota Camry and received LESS options than the Honda Accord.

That is basically the only reason I by German made cars over the LS. If Lexus could copy the ride/handling of the BMW/MB line as well as they did everything else they would own the luxury market.

my mom has the es330 year 04. Awesome car, beautiful ride. I hate the brakes though, very slow.

My future mother n'law drive a ls430. That car is awesome. I rode inside. They have GPS, all leather, and etc...

Wish i can afford something like that. Well got to work hard.

Used to drive a volvo S70, but went to a honda accord for financial reasons. Next car will be a better one.
