wow, again from guy who says "every ford is crap", you are so sold on quality perception that toyota & honda have... go ahead, buy a 8 yr old car and enjoy the rude awakening.
not only the quality, the parts, the way the car is designed, is something i love. i dont like cheap plastic dashes and sagging headliners, just not my thing. I hate their audio systems, since they all suck. Even factory units in all japanese cars are made majority by panasonic/pioneer and alpine. Ford engines ? they just LOOK ugly. and are hard to work on.
my buddy was hardcore ford, but when he got his civic, he found out how much better japanese cars are compared to the fords.
My cobalt had a 300 watt pioneer system, my dads tahoe has a bose system, my friends fusion has a sony system
my roomates accord has a buzzy system that bottoms out if you crank the volume past half way
you really should just give whatever your Japanese preconceived notions a blowjob and be done with it. I dont particularly even like American cars and you still sound like a troll
i have been on this forum for a while my friend, i think you are the troll. I am just asking on what people think, would the IS be a better car than my accord, reliability, cost etc. I never asked anyone to suggest other cars. I go to school, and want a reliable car that won't have issues with it. The IS is made in japan, unlike alot of toyotas now adays.
The toyotas built in the US are horrible, i agree on that note. The reliability has gone down, and so have the materials and workmanship. Honda on that note has been consistent with quality, and so has nissan.
