Lexus IS-F at Los Angeles Auto Show

Someone asked me to post this and I've been severely lacking in my duties. 😛

I stood there for about 10 minutes just to get two videos of this by some idiots who clearly barely know how to drive.

This guy hits the rev limiter in 1st and then bogs it in 3rd...this was the best run I captured sadly enough.

Working link.

They had one at the Lexus dealership when I took my car in for service this week. It was a black one. Sounded amazing!

I'll try later.

The file is 58MB though.

Not when you can get a comparably equiped E90/92 M3 for close to the same price. Maybe a few grand difference.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the IS-F. They took a great looking car (IMO) and ruined it with the IS-F. Those bulges in the hood and fenders, that strange gap in the fender behind the front wheels, that hideous quad exhaust...

Google Videos. Will host pretty much any file size. If video is over 700mb you'll need to DL a program to up with.

man lexus wasn't kidding when they said that's the fastest shifting automatic in the world. jules i kind of see what you mean by bogging, but a car with 400ftlb of torque won't really "bog down"... Besides, I don't think the computer will even let you shift into too high of a gear for the road speed.

Well, I don't think it was the software because I heard other people run this car and some of them did it right...no bogging, and you can clearly hear the engine bouncing off the rev limiter for a brief second before the 1-2 shift.
