I was printing something a couple of nights ago and it just stopped and the power button began to blink. I toyed with it for about 10 minutes trying to turn it off, pull the paper out, unplugging it and nothing worked. I eventually pulled the paper out (difficult) that it was jammed on and the printer wouldn't print anything. I took a look at the ink cartridge and they looked fine but after nothing working for a while, I pulled out the color one and the printer started to work with only the black ink. If I put the color back in, the power button just blinks and nothing happens if I send it a document.
WTF? This was a floor model that I got for $50 that never gave me any trouble until now. Any ideas? I don't believe the cartridge is empty because I don't think it can detect that but instead just run out of ink and it's up to the owner to see it's out.
