Lexmark X73

When I try to scan something, I press the scan button on the X73. The
Lexmark Scan and Copy Program comes up and then it prompts me with the
Application Manager. I choose "Viewing Booth" and "JPEG" for file type. I
click send, but it doesn't begin scanning. An error message comes up:

TITLE OF ERROR MESSAGE:
Lexmark Scan & Copt Control Program: Artcopy55.exe - Bad Image

ERROR MESSAGE:
The applicaton or DLL C:\WinNT\twain_32.dll is not a valid Windows image.
Please check this against your installation diskette.

I have tried replacing the Twain_32.dll file but it didn't work.

Tech Support from Lexmark just sent me reinstallation directions but they didn't work....
Any ideas?
 
Hello,

Does a preview image appear so that you can select an area to scan with the mouse before scanning? Have you tried selecting a different Photo program to scan to(i.e. Photosop, etc.)? If you haven't done so, you could also try downloading the latest drivers, etc. from Lexmark. You could also try to scan by manually opening the Copy & Scan program and initiating the scan from within the program.

Hello,

IS your OS Windows NT? According to the list below from Lexmarks site, NT is not a supported OS. Have you asked asked Lexmark if this could be the problem?
