Lexmark X73 in Windows XP? Can't get it to work!

Has anyone had problems with getting this printer to work in Windows XP? I'm getting kinda frustrated, and not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

try the new drivers?

Also try uninstalling the MS uPNP patch. I had to do this inorder for my friends lexmark to work properly again. If you do happen to remove this patch I suggest uninstalling uPNP from the add/remove option in the control panel. It should be a network service under the windows components.
