Lexmark e210 Printer Problem??

Hi,
Just purchased this Lexmark e210 laser printer from hot deals section.

When I first turn the printer on, it is rather loud, but quiets down after a minute when idle. But is loud again when printing. Sounds like fans that are turning on or something.

For those of you who have this printer, please let me know if this is normal. My previous printer (Lexmark z52) was quiet when first turned on and only could be heard until printing. Or are all laser printers like this?

Just wondering if I should return it. thanks for any input.😕
 
this is normal, laser printers go thru what is called a 'warm up' before they can print - that is most likely what you are hearing
